  • 1 head red romaine lettuce
  • 2 cups mixed greens
  • 1 pint strawberries (sliced)
  • 1 cup tomato-basil feta cheese (crumbled)
  • 1 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp. salt

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the red romaine lettuce and mixed greens.
  2. Slice the strawberries after removing their caps.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the lettuce, mixed greens, sliced strawberries, feta cheese, and chopped pecans. Toss gently.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, apple cider vinegar, sugar, dried basil, and salt until well blended.
  5. Drizzle dressing over the salad just before serving and toss gently again.
  6. Serve immediately with whole strawberries and extra pecans as garnish.
